At Morningside Recovery, we offer the opportunity for our clients to safely experience the transition from higher levels of care to re-entry in the community by participating in a controlled living environment. These homes are traditionally supervised by a House Manager who ensures the Transitional Living Environment offers structure and strong peer support. Residents are recommended for this level of care only when they have successfully completed a more intensive treatment program at Morningside or at another primary treatment facility. This program requires the resident be employed or actively seeking employment.
Morningside Recovery has a highly trained, professional, and compassionate staff experienced in the recovery process.
Some special needs we are available to assist with include:

Transitional Employment Program:
The Transitional Employment Program at Morningside Recovery is designed for clients who have completed Morningside Recovery’s 90-Day program, or a different program of the same caliber. The Transitional Employment Program was designed to give clients the opportunity to put to use the life skills they acquired in treatment while continuing to live in a safe, drug-free environment. While in Transitional Care, clients are expected to work. Morningside Recovery staff understand the difficulties of transitioning from treatment to mainstream, and are prepared to help any client with a job search. In addition to work clients are required to attend at least five 12-step meetings each week, drug test 3 times each week, and continue meeting with their Case Manager. The goal of the Transitional Employment Program is to make transitioning back into the mainstream of society easy and safe. Our goal is to help each client maintain their sobriety while slowly adding more activities to their lives. Transitional Employment Care works well because of the safety net we provide. If we notice that a client is slipping or needs extra attention, it is easy for us to add more groups to his/her schedule to ensure continued sobriety. We are here to help everyone in every stage of recovery and we will always do our best to help each individual person on the road to long-term recovery.
